Green Bay has retaken the lead, 17-13, with less than three minutes remaining in the third quarter of the NFC championship game, as East Newton High School graduates (I'm Class of '74) watch to see if one of our own, Allen Barbre, will be the first from our school to play in the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for two weeks from tonight.
The Giants, however, are moving downfield for the potential go-ahead score.
Update: An Ahmad Bradshaw touchdown run and the extra point kick have put the New York Giants back ahead 20-17 with 2:12 left in the third quarter.
