A 9:30 a.m. April 14 arraignment has been scheduled for former Collins Mayor Allen Kauffman, who was bound over for trial following a preliminary hearing today in Newton County Circuit Court.
Kauffman, 62, who is also a minister, was ensnared by a Diamond Police Department internet sex sting. He is charged with four counts of enticement of a child. Kauffman resigned as mayor shortly after his arrest.
