Missourinet: Wilson testy over criticism of bill prohibiting illegal aliens from attending Missouri colleges

Rep. Kevin Wilson, R-Neosho, is one of those quoted in a Missourinet article as fed up with criticism of a bill which would prohibit illegal immigrants from enrolling Missouri colleges and universities:

Rep. Kevin Wilson (R-Neosho) tired of arguments against the bill, asserting it merely upholds the law against those here illegally, "The folks back home ask me that all the time; what part of illegal do the people in Jefferson City not understand?"

Perhaps he should ask the folks back home what part of "juvenile" they don't understand. Punishing some kid who was carried across the border at the age of 5 and has behaved well in the intervening 13 years or so is asinine.

Asinine or not the kid had 13 years to be naturalized, if they didnot now they are ilegal adults.

What's interesting about this is, Kevin Wilson and his pals are the first to applaud the exploitation of the illegals in the chicken plants. Well, you can't have it both ways. If you want cheap labor and want to exploit humans, don't blame them for sending their kids to school.

I do blame them. I blame them for breaking our laws and getting away with it and getting free services, school being one of them. If they want their kids to become productive members of society then first step is to become a citizen. Maybe you like paying their way but I for one do not. I also don't like hearing the jibberish talk they speak because they are unable to speak English, and no I don't think I should have to pay more taxes so they can learn it. This is America.......not Mexico. Do you think the Mexican government would allow us as illegal American's to rape their governmental and school services like the illegals do here? Get a grip.
