Goodman pockets $24,700 in Sinquefield cash

Add Sen. Jack Goodman's name to the list of those who latched onto billionaire educational voucher supporter Rex Sinquefield's money.
The Mount Vernon Republican's campaign disclosure report, filed Tuesday with the Missouri Ethics Commission, showed he accepted $24,700 from political action committees established by Sinquefield in late 2007 to enable him to circumvent contribution limits.
Goodman's contributions came from various chapters of committees named Merit Pay for Missouri Teachers, Public Charter Schools of Missouri, Missourians Supporting Teaching Excellence, and Your School, Your Choice.

The Sinquefield money accounted for more than half of Goodman's contributions during the first three months of 2008, according to the documents. Goodman received $39,750, fattening his bank account to $59,969.76.

Hey Randy,
Why don't you do a post on what the effect has been of the SInquefield cash? All I can see is who is getting the money, but how is it changing their votes/positions on the issues.
