$5,000 bond set for East Newton coach charged with statutory rape

A $5,000 bond has been set for East Newton High School girls basketball coach Joshua Long, 30, who is charged with felony statutory rape.

Long was arrested by the Jasper County Sheriff's Department. He resigned from his position at East Newton today.

I can't believe they would post the defendants name, DOB and address on the internet. That's basically saying, "hey, victim's family. Here's where the guy lives."

Yes, and they will also list him as a sexual predator which thankfully allows parents to monitor where he lives so they can keep kids away from him!
