Clinton speech accomplishes purpose

I am sure the pundits will claim his heart wasn't in it, and who knows, it may not have been, but President Clinton delivered the goods for Barack Obama tonight, and at least temporarily should end the talk of a fissure within the Democratic party.

Clinton delivered a speech chock full of criticism of John McCain and the Republican party, and full of praise for Barack Obama.

The two most memorable lines of the speech:

-One came when Clinton talked America's stronger leadership comes from the "power of our examples" and not from "the examples of our power."

-The second was when the former president said an election of John McCain would be one case where the "third time is not the charm."
