Livengood blog: Hulshof thought Palin speech was "a home run"

Republican candidate for Missouri governor Kenny Hulshof thought vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's speech at the GOP National Convention was a hit, according to a post on Springfield News-Leader political reporter Chad Livengood's blog:

Hulshof said Palin "was tough" and "was sassy" in telling her life story, while delivering some political punches to Democrats Barack Obama and Joseph Biden.

"She told her story only as she could," Hulshof said from the floor of the convention hall. "I thought it was a homerun."
