McDonald County Newspapers has placed an ad with JournalismJobs.com and Missouri Press Association seeking an editor, with a pay range of $24,000 to $30,000.
According to the ad, the editor will be "supervising a full-time sports editor and a part-time reporter; determining story play and coverage; some limited page design; representing the newspaper in the community and other duties as assigned. Hours are generally Monday through Friday with some nights and weekends required depending on coverage need."
The editor will work closely with the editor of the Springdale Morning News, according to the advertisement.
