The Missouri Republican State Committee today selected David Cole of Cassville, Missouri as the new party Chairman.
Cole currently serves as the Chairman of the Seventh District Republican Congressional Committee and the Barry County Republican Central Committee. Cole has also served as a county coordinator for the campaigns of Roy Blunt, Matt Blunt, Christopher “Kit” Bond, Jim Talent, Peter Kinder, and John Ashcroft.
“For the last three and a half years, Missouri Republicans have benefited from Doug Russell’s tireless commitment, dedication and leadership of our Party. Doug will certainly be missed,” said David Cole, new Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party. “I am grateful to the members of the State Committee for putting their trust in me. The honor of serving as Chairman of the State Committee is a significant responsibility and I look forward to leading the Missouri Republican Party with an unwavering commitment to our Party’s long standing principles and ideals.”
“As Chairman, I am committed to continuing the hard work needed to be successful by growing our grassroots, communicating our message to new audiences, recruiting and supporting qualified candidates for office and encouraging participation in our Party from a broader segment of the electorate,” said Cole. “The Republican Party in Missouri is very strong because the majority of Missourians agree with our positions on the issues. I intend to do everything I can to sustain that strength and increase it.”
David Cole is currently a partner at Partner in the law firm of Ellis, Cupps & Cole in Cassville. Cole attended undergraduate school at Missouri Southern State University and received his law degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. David and his wife Amy, have three children, Holly, Andrew and Emily.
The State Committee elected Susie Eckelkamp as Vice-Chair, Dick Peerson as Treasurer, and Pat Thomas as Secretary.
