Gannett falls below $2 mark; Nexstar Broadcasting down to 53 cents

The stock of Gannett, owner of the Springfield News-Leader continued its nosedive Monday, dropping 25 cents to $1.92 per share.

In other area media stock, Nexstar Broadcasting fell 12 cents to 53 cents per share. Nexstar owns KSNF in Joplin and KSFX in Springfield, and is de facto owner of KODE in Joplin and KOLR in Springfield.

Saga Communications, owner of KOAM and KFJX in the Joplin/Pittsburg market, improved two cents per share to $3.15.
