KODE reporter Dustin Latimer turned the camera on Speaker of the House Ron Richard, and the second part of that two-part interview just aired on KODE.
Some think Gov. Jay Nixon is the most powerful politician in Missouri, but Richard was happy to let the Joplin area know that is not the case.
Richard asserted he is "more powerful than the governor, the president of the Senate, not that I care about that."
The speaker made no comment about rumors that he can leap tall buildings at a single bound.
