When John Frnaklin Manco, 19, goes to trial on charges connected with the Feb. 8 fire that destroyed St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lamar, he wants to be far away from Barton County.
Barton County Circuit Court documents indicate Manco's attorney, public defender Joe Zuzul filed motions Tuesday for a change of judge and change of venue. A motion for discovery was also filed.
The next hearing in the case is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, June 29.
