Former Attorney General John Ashcroft will announce his support for Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt's candidacy for U. S. Senate during a 2:30 p.m. Monday stop at Candlewood Suites, South Range Line Road, Joplin.
An announcement will be made earlier in the day in Springfield.
