Bandy: Tiffany saved my life

In a taped report on KSN's First on Five, meterologist Gary Bandy says his former co-anchor on the program, Tiffany Alaniz, saved his life during the tornado winds that destroyed the KSN tower and studios six weeks ago.

Bandy said he arrived at an empty studio, called Ms. Alaniz, and was told the building had been evacuated and he needed to get out of there immediately.

Bandy got out of the studio just four minutes before the winds, described as near a second level hurricane, hit it, demolishing it, nailing the tower, and taking KSN off the air for the past several weeks.

Today marked the station's official return.

Shouldn't a weatherman, of all people, know what is going on with the weather. Oh, that's right...he's not a real meteorologist. I'd take Doug Heady over Bandy any day.
