Rod Anderson is new MSSU Board President

Rod Anderson is the new president of the Missouri Southern State University Board of Governors and David Jones has been elected vice chairman.

Sharon Odom was re-elected secretary and Linda Eis was re-elected traasurer.

Anderson's ascension came after Board Chairman Dwight Douglas said, "This has been a great board to work with. I am not a candidate for re-election."

We need to shout it from the rooftops: Dwight Douglas is no longer chair of the Board of Governors!

"I am not a candidate for re-election"... Ha! He knew he didn't have the votes this time... He tried, but not enough votes... so he had to become a non-candidate... hee hee!

Good riddance... although I am not sure we are going to be that much better with Anderson. He claims he has no agenda and that is laughable... The only thing he cares about is athletics.

Let's see if he and the rest of the bored can keep Brucie from precipitating a no-confidence vote from the union and the faculty senate...
