Blunt: I don't know why Obama can't show a birth certificate

In this video, Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt, a candidate for U. S. Senate, appeared to be appealing to his conservative followers, check that, his far to the right of conservative followers. In this video, Blunt, one of several Republicans interviewed, says he can't understand why Obama can't produce a birth certificate.

Stick to health care, Congressman. This birther nonsense reminds me of the preparedness expos of the late '90s, including the American Heritage Festival in Carthage in 1998 where conspiracy theorists suggested the U. S, created the AIDS and Ebola viruses, was responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing, started the crack cocaine epidemic in Watts, and that Richard Nixon was behind the Kennedy assassination:

There should be no question that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, in the United States, and is a U.S. citizen.

There is a legitimate question as to whether he is a "natural born citizen" as intended by the framers. "Natural born" may mean born a U.S. citizen or, as it was meant at the time the Constitution was drafted, it may mean born a citizen to two citizens. Obama's father was never an American citizen.

Ultimately, it is a question the SCOTUS should decide and soon. The liberal effort to marginalize anyone who questions whether Obama is eligible to hold the office is evidence that there are valid concerns and they are attempting to discredit the question before it becomes a serious threat.

According to Wikipedia Roy Blunt was born in Niangua, MO. in 1950.

Precisely WHERE in speed bump Niangua?

At home? In the barn?

Adding a little color to the bio?

We constituients need proof.

I bet he was born at Burge (Protestant for sure) hospital in Springfield.
