Cameras will be on hand for arraignment of Phillips, Petrait

When Dale Phillips, 27, Joplin, and his girlfriend Linda Petrait, 27, are arraigned 8 a.m. tomorrow in Jasper County Circuit Court, the television cameras will be there to record the hearing.

Online court records indicate Judge Richard Copeland approved a pool camera Tuesday.

Phillips and Petrait are charged with felony endangering the welfare of a child after Phillips' nephew, Tyler Fecko, 11, died of alcohol poisoning, allegedly following a drinking game.

The cameras better be on time, because if they are not, given how Copeland handles other other alcohol related cases, the two may be out the door on unsupervised probation before the cameras get set up to film.
