Branson Daily News finally covers Pete Newman arrest

It took five days, but the Branson Daily News finally decided that the arrest of former Kanakuk Kamps director Pete Newman for four felony sex charges involving underaged boys is news.

There is nothing new in the account, which was written by Society Editor Mindy Honey.

it was still only the fourth story on the newspaper's home page, trailing behind the interest in replacing Rep. Dennis Wood, the news that work on a new bridge will start in November, and the discovery of infected snakes at a residence.
