Media stocks up on Tuesday

Three media companies with area properties had good trading days on Wall Street Tuesday.

Saga Communications, owner of KOAM and KFJX in the Joplin/Pittsburg market, closed at $14.12 per share, up 42 cents, while Nexstar Broadcasting, owner/operator of KODE and KSNF in Joplin and KSFX and KOLR in Springfield, was up four cents to $2.73 per share.

Gannett, owner of the Springfield News-Leader, closed at $9.06 per share, up 38 cents.
