Dreyer contributes $20,000 to her own campaign

A 48-hour filing with the Missouri Ethics Commission shows Joplin attorney Shelly Dreyer contributed $20,000 to her own campaign for 129th District State Representative Sept. 30.

Ms. Dreyer and Adolfo Castillo, president of the Tri-State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, are the only announced candidates for the Republican nomination for the position currently held by Speaker of the House Ron Richard, R-Joplin, who is barred by term limits from running for re-election.

A third candidate, former KZRG personality Mark Kinsley, dropped out of the race.
