Holocaust deniers and hate merchants take issue with Turner Report post on Miep Gies' passing

My post earlier this week on the death of Miep Gies, who protected Anne Frank's family for more than two years from the Nazis and was responsible for preserving Miss Frank's diary for posterity, has certainly managed to create quite a fuss among those deluded souls who still put the Third Reich on a pedestal and keep the fires of anti-Semitism burning.

The original post and the rabid responses can be found at this link.

I just found out that Miep Gies' maiden name was Santrouschitz and she was not Dutch. She was born in Vienna. It's getting clearer and clearer that this woman was a Jew. (If you look at her photo from when she was young it's pretty clear anyway.)

Randy, both your article and the one I printed from MSNBC were very good. It really disturbs me that so many people in this area have such strong anti-semetic feelings and feel that the HOLOCAUST didn't happen. I thought that disbelievers died out when Columbus sailed around a round world.....
