Resolution urges Congress to vote against health care legislation

In a move that appears more designed to appeal to their voting base, rather than accomplish anything, the Missouri House of Representatives has passed a resolution urging Missouri's Congressional delegation to vote against federal health care legislation:

If this bunch of legislators spent as much time working to improve the lives of common Missouri families as they do making useless feel good resolutions, feel good state amendments, and feel good legislation that appeals only to their base. Missouri might not be this financial mess. Maybe they can all sell their souls and become lobbyists. Any more I just see them going to Jeff City and trying to get rich and they forget about the people who elected them.
