Speaker of the House has nearly half a million in campaign account

Anyone planning to challenge Speaker of the House Ron Richard, R-Joplin, for the 32nd District Senate seat had better have deep pockets.

Disclosure documents filed Thursday with the Missouri Ethics Commission show Richard has $436,281.61 in his account, including a fresh $128,831 received during the last three months of 2009.
