It did not look like anyone planned to pay to free Eddie Salazar Sr. on bond when that was still a possibility.
After charges of second degree murder were filed against Salazar today in connection with the death of his eight-month-old son, Eddie Salazar Jr., Judge Richard Copeland ordered him held without bond.
No hearing date has been set on the new charge, but Salazar is scheduled for a hearing 9:05 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, on a charge of making a false report to police.
