For the first time, Sen. Jack Goodman, R-Mount Vernon, apparently picking up some traction in the Seventh District Congressional race, has raised more money in a quarter than Springfield auctioneer.
Goodman raised $100,505 during the past three months, compared to $79,262 for Long. Long, however, had a comfortable $385,037 in his bank account as of June 30.
