All candidates for the Seventh District Congressional seat, Democrat and Republican, except for former Rep. Steve Hunter, R-Joplin, are at the debate, which is about to start.
The Nexstar stations in Joplin are represented on the questioning panel by reporter Gretchen Bolander of KODE.

The plan is for Hunter to announce he is dropping out of the race and endorsing Long.
This has been the plan from the beginning if polling showed Hunter could not pull votes from both Nodler and Goodman.
Polling not only showed this to be the case but has caused Long to lower his TV buy in the West side of the district.
