Nodler receives $1,000 contribution from Neosho businessman

Trailing badly in the three-way tussle for fundraising leadership in the Seventh District GOP Congressional race, Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, received a $1,000 infusion Friday from Neosho businessman Richard Davidson, according to a 48-hour report filed with the Federal Election Commission.

At the end of June, Springfield auctioneer had $385,137, Sen. Jack Goodman, Mount Vernon, $207,162.89, and Nodler $128,234.

It could also be Mayor Davidson's father - Richard Davidson - who held a fund raiser for Nodler on Thursday.
