In an ad released by the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, and posted to YouTube by Fired Up Missouri, the union rips Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt for voting to increase his own pay five times and pocketing more than one million dollars since first being elected to Congress while voting against a minimum wage increase:

since when do employees,employed by the government paid by tax payer dollars, get to run adds blasting anyone?
So anyone in a tax payer job should not be allowed to run ads or state their opinion? Was the ad paid for by the tax dollars? or out of private funds? Is it libelous? I am a tax payer and hold a tax paid position - so basically I pay myself. I still have the right to the 1st Amendment.
