Voters in two state senatorial districts didn't select two representatives who aligned themselves with the so-called birther movement, the people who claim that President Barack Obams was not born in the United States.
In the Second District, incumbent Scott Rupp defeated Rep. Cynthia Davis, while Rep. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, fell to Rep. Mike Parson, R-Bolivar, in the 28th District.
