In an article posted on the Joplin Globe website, Joplin businessman Ron Erwin's mother said he used to travel to New Mexico.
Albuquerque police, the FBI, and the Joplin Police Department today executed search warrants on property owned by Erwin. KOAM reported that computers were taken from a residence.
The Globe says that Erwin indicated he may make a statement later.
