Southern Watch returns

The Southern Watch blog, which played a key role in bringing the problems at Missouri Southern State University to light, has returned after several months' absence.

The anonymously-written blog first cast light on some of the shenanigans surrounding the operation of the university since the hiring of President Bruce Speck.

When anonymous groups attack Billy Long, they're gutless coward;, when they attack (and ridicule beyond decency) Bruce Speck, they're muckracking journalists that deserve praise. You have ZERO principle.

I just said they're back. Get yourself under control. You might also remember that the people who use shadow organizations like Americans for Job Security are rich people who want to heavily influence who represents us, but don't want anyone to know who they are so they pass themselves off on something as agreeable-sounding as Americans for Job Security. Though I do not know who the people at Southern Watch are, it is obvious that a fear of retribution from the powers-that-be at Missouri Southern State University is their reason to remain anonymous.

And another thing about your cheap shot. Don't forget that while I put my name out on everything I write, I don't see yours anywhere.

Now if Southern Watch would write in a way I could understand what in the world they are saying. I guess their cleverness is over my head.

I happen to agree with 9:58. If they took the role more seriously and stopped trying to be Richard Pryor all the time, they could actually make a real impact. They just discredit the aim of their mission with the gutter humor stuff.

Of course, when you mention that their collective egos get very defensive. If I were them, I'd remember that this is about southern and the people there, not their own egos. Do the job, and then do it right and forcefully.

Don't give the morons in administration and in other places a reason to dismiss you.

By the way, the above comment doesn't mean "don't try to be funny". It means don't write from the gutter. It gives your opponents all the reason to dismiss everything you say.
