Blunt: Billy Long is off to a good start

In an interview on KZRG Friday, Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said that his successor as Seventh District Congressman, Billy Long, is off to a good start.

Blunt also talks about his expansion into new media with Facebook and Twitter and his belief in communicating with his constituents through various venues.

Blunt also criticizes the federal health care plan, saying it's a bad idea and even if it were a good idea, "we can't afford it."

He adds. "There are a lot of marketplace solutions."

Did not Senator Blunt say, "He's off to an entertaining start?"

Scary to think using the FBI to silence political enemies is a "good start," especially when a Republican says it.

What has he started other than his re-election committee and embarrassment for the area?
