Ed Martin endorses Akin candidacy
In the accompanying video, Former Matt Blunt chief of staff Ed Martin, who opted out of a run for U. S. Senate, endorses the candidacy of Congressman Todd Akin. The other announced candidate for the seat is former State Treasurer Sarah Steelman:

Does anyone, anywhere, know anyone more desperate to get back on the public payroll than Ed Martin? This guy is the perfect example of the type of person who we do not need; who is running for selfish reasons; and, would make absolutely no extended effort, after being elected, to work toward solving problems. Kind of reminds me of someone else.
