National Weather Service upgrades Joplin tornado to EF-5

The tornado that devastated Joplin Sunday, leaving at least 122 dead, has been classified as an EF-5, the National Weather Service has announced. ITs winds were in excess of 200 miles per hour.

The tornado is the eighth deadliest in U. S. history.

This disaster was caused by all of the false alarms that have taught people to ignore tornado warnings.
