Dangerous heat wave to become more widespread

(From the National Weather Service)

.THE COMBINATION OF HIGH LEVELS OF TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY...
WILL CAUSE OPPRESSIVE WEATHER TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE REST OF THE
WEEK.

THIS DANGEROUS HEAT WAVE WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD...IN
RESPONSE TO THE EXPANSION OF A SUMMERTIME AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE.
THIS FEATURE WILL REMAIN ANCHORED OVER THE REGION THROUGH THE END
OF THE WEEK.

THE PROLONGED NATURE OF THIS HEAT WAVE WILL INCREASE THE RISK OF
HEAT RELATED ILLNESSES TO ANYONE WORKING OR PARTICIPATING IN
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. BE AWARE OF THE SIGNS OF HEAT RELATED
ILLNESSES...AND ACT APPROPRIATELY IF HEAT ILLNESS SYMPTOMS OCCUR
TO YOURSELF OR ANYONE AROUND YOU.
