Does anyone think taking 60 days to get FEMA trailers onside is a prompt response? It took less time in New Orleans and Bush was blasted for it. Oh howls times change.

9:31 They should be grateful in these financial bad times that the government is doing ANYTHING for them. Remember, we're broke. Budgets are stressed, staffing cut, and let's not forget these are mainly Tea Party supporters sending guys like Billy Long to Congress --- who voted AGAINST funding FEMA.

Yep, they need to be grateful their "big government" is doing anything for their butts.

That headline is a little misleading. The first FEMA trailers were set up in existing mobile home parks in and around Joplin way back about three weeks after the disaster. They've installed dozens of these around the area in existing trailer parks with empty spaces. This is the first set of trailers to arrive at the newly constructed park near the Joplin airport. 60 days to build a trailer park from scratch, install the sewer, water and electricity and bring in the first trailers is really not all that bad, dontcha think Anon 9:31?
