Sarah Steelman: Send $50 and I'll get some jobs for you

In her latest pitch for funds for her U. S. Senate race, former State Treasurer Sarah Steelman spells out her differences with incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill and how she, as an economist, could do a better job:

Friday we got more bad news about the economy – the number of net new jobs created? Zero. This does not come as a surprise to me or probably to you. As an economist, I know that more government spending, more government regulations and more debt are not going to help our economy get moving again. Sadly, Senator McCaskill and President Obama are so disconnected from real Americans that they just don’t get it. They think that raising taxes and another stimulus will actually create jobs!! Three years of these policies and unemployment remains above 9 percent; the value of our homes continue to decline; the price of gas has risen $1.65 per gallon since Obama took office and milk costs more than $4.00 a gallon. None of us can afford to keep them in power.

I have been talking with Missourians all over the state and they all agree on what Washington politicians need to do but they just won’t do it. Unfortunately, Washington isn’t listening. But I am. We must immediately cut spending, cap future spending and pass a balanced budget amendment.

And then I will work nonstop until our economy is producing jobs again. Here is my plan:

•Implement real tax reform – closing loopholes and lowering the rates.
•Reduce the capital gains tax.
•Reduce and eliminate regulations by cutting programs.
•Repeal Obamacare!
•Increase domestic oil drilling and build more domestic refineries.
•Require the Federal Reserve to implement sound monetary policy.

If you agree with me and have had enough of Senator Claire McCaskill and President Obama’s jobless economy, please help me by contributing $50 as soon as possible at sarahsteelman.com! Your support is needed and greatly appreciated!!

Thus far, Sarah can't raise enough money to get a tank full of gasoline. Kinda sad.

She can't understand why the farming community will not support her. She does not understand she threw many in the farming community under the tractor when she ran in the Primary Election against Hulshoff. She demonstrated she knew more about litigation and trial lawyers than agriculture. Kinda sad.

Who is running her campaign? They look like idiots. It's not the federal government's job to create jobs. Giving Sarah $50 isn't going to give you a good job either. She needs to fire her metro sexual in the closet staff or get out of this race.
