Winter weather advisory remains in effect

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT TO MIDNIGHT CST MONDAY NIGHT...

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN TO FALL OVER
EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS
ALONG AND WEST OF THE HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 6
AM MONDAY. ONSET OF LIGHT SNOW FOR AREAS EAST OF HIGHWAY 65 WILL
BE BETWEEN 5 AM AND 9 AM MONDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...LIGHT SNOW WILL GRADUALLY ACCUMULATE
THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY. BY MONDAY EVENING STORM TOTAL SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND TWO INCHES IS FORECAST OVER MOST OF THE
REGION.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...ICE ACCUMULATION UP TO ONE TENTH OF AN INCH
WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR AREAS ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY 60
CORRIDOR. NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 60 CORRIDOR...ICE ACCUMULATIONS
OF A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...ROAD SURFACES WILL BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS ON
MONDAY. AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF THE HIGHWAY 65 CORRIDOR...WILL
LIKELY EXPERIENCE SLICK ROADWAYS DURING THE MONDAY MORNING
COMMUTE TO WORK OR SCHOOL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF LIGHT SNOW AND
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
