Testimony in the second day of the trial of Chris Collings, Wheaton, one of two men charged with the November 2007 rape and murder of Triway fourth grader Rowan Ford, indicated Collings and Rowan Ford's stepfather, David Wesley Spears, were high on marijuana and alcohol the night of the murder.
Collings had been a babysitter for Rowan Ford, who called him "Uncle Chris."
