Steelman sons: Today's Mom's birthday; give her some money

In a message to supporters, the sons of Republican U. S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman said the best way to celebrate her 54th birthday is by contributing some money to her campaign. The news release is printed below:

We are emailing you today to inform you that today is our Mother’s 54th birthday!

Sarah Steelman is recognized for her willingness to take a stand when others wouldn’t. She has always put the people of Missouri ahead of her own self interest, and in the process she has sometimes suffered politically.  If you would like to send her a Happy Birthday message, please take a moment to post a birthday message on our campaign Facebook page.

Our Mother is many incredible things, but most importantly she is “Mom” to us. She has been out on the campaign trail non-stop, working to make sure that Claire McCaskill and Barack Obama are both removed from office. Now some may say how is that motherly? Well, you all have seen the football moms or the soccer moms who will come to their child’s side and help to defend them against whatever wrong has been done. Our Mom has always been there to do that for us, football, soccer, basketball as well.
As we have grown, and as the debt on our country has grown (a debt, which our generation will bear the brunt of), our Mom has redirected her attention to the new wrongdoer. No longer is it a bad referee or a bully in school-- it is the federal government under the direction of President Barack Obama and Claire McCaskill.

Mom is still being Mom, just on a much larger scale now. WE can no longer afford the disastrous polices that Barack Obama and Claire McCaskill continue to push.

If you all have the same faith in Sarah Steelman that we have in our Mom to alter the direction of this country for the better, please consider making a donation to her campaign on her birthday.

Today is her birthday and we want it to be as special a birthday as possible. Each and every one of you can help us make it special with a small donation or a simple “Happy Birthday” post on our campaign Facebook Page.

Thanks again for your time and all you do!

Sincerely

Sam, Joe, and Michael Steelman
