In the accompanying video, Rep. Mike Talboy, D-Kansas City, doesn't explain exactly how it should be done, but he backs his vote for HB 1526, which eliminates the use of seniority when teachers are laid off by saying, "You have to keep the best teacher possible when you are molding the minds of children."
In this clip, Talboy fails to mention the $1,000 contribution he received from Michelle Rhee's extremist Students First group, which has pushed this legislation.
