Martin: Chris Koster rubberstamping Obama agenda

Keep using the phrase and hope it sticks. It's a tried and true political strategy and it is being used by Ed Martin's campaign for attorney general- the more often he calls incumbent Chris Koster "Obama's lawyer," the more he hopes the phrase will resonate.

Every news release sent out by Martin uses the phrase and the latest one is no different.

Ed Martin criticized Attorney General Chris Koster for again rubber stamping Obama's agenda, this time by not sending back the outrageously written ballot language of Robin Carnahan and calling for a rewrite.  Carnahan has written misleading and clearly biased ballot language for the voter referendum on implementing the Obamacare exchanges to be on the ballot in August.

"Koster and Carnahan are complicit in a shameful partisan attempt to trick the voters about Obamacare," Martin said.  "The Attorney General is the last line of defense against the federal government taking over our health care and he must not stand by and let Robin Carnahan aid Barack Obama in the takeover.  Now is the time to stand up and fight back - at every turn - against Obamacare and its allies like Robin Carnahan.  If Koster cannot stand up for Missourians, he is proving yet again that he cannot do the job and he shoud be replaced."

Ed Martin will be joining Secretary of State Candidate Shane Schoeller for press conferences in Jefferson City (8:45 am), Springfield (11:45) and St. Louis (4pm) to discuss their plans for replacing Koster and Carnahan, and how they plan to restore honesty and fairness to Jefferson City.
