Sarah Palin: We must send Sarah Steelman to Washington

(From the Sarah Steelman campaign)

Today United State Senate candidate from Missouri Sarah Steelman is proud to announce that she has earned the endorsement of former Governor and Vice Presidential Nominee, Sarah Palin. Steelman, whose willingness to fight the establishment has often drawn comparison to Governor Palin, believes this endorsement from such a strong conservative leader is evidence of her conviction to reform Washington D.C. and take back our country.
"I am deeply honored and humbled to have earned the endorsement of Governor Palin, whose willingness to stand up and fight for what is right, regardless of the political consequences, has blazed a trail for conservatives who believe as we do, that the status quo has got to go. I am ready to join Governor Palin and lead the fight in the Senate to restore fiscal discipline and speak truth to power by putting this country back into the hands of the people!" said Steelman.
Sarah Steelman requested Governor Palin's support at the onset of her campaign for US Senate. Today Governor Palin released the following statement in support of Sarah Steelman's campaign:
As we seek to fundamentally restore our great nation to strength and prosperity, we must send more commonsense conservatives to the U.S. Senate. We need sincere public servants who will fight for us, not the special interests and the permanent political class in Washington. Sarah Steelman will fight for all of Missouri and all of us, and that is why we must send her to D.C. this fall.

Sarah has run a grassroots campaign the way it should be run – handshake by handshake, voter by voter, farm to farm, not TV ad after TV ad. As a former State Treasurer and State Senator, Sarah has often had to stand up to the political establishment – even those in her own party – to stop out of control spending and the destructive debt it leaves in its wake. As a mother of three, Sarah knows that we must cut our unsustainable debt to preserve our children's future. She'll fight hard for Ag families against the crushing regulations that the Obama administration has put on them.

Please join me in supporting Sarah Steelman for U.S. Senate. Let's send a commonsense conservative woman from the Show Me state to show Washington how to get things done.

- Sarah Palin
Sarah Steelman is running as a common-sense conservative in the August 7th Republican primary to challenge Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill. McCaskill has been a rubberstamp for the Obama/Reid agenda in the US Senate, including casting the deciding vote for Obamacare and voting for the stimulus. McCaskill is the lead recipient of pro-choice advocacy group, Emily's List.

And who did all the big spending: Bush. He came into the office of President, I won't say elected by the people because he wasn't, with a record surplus, he managed to squander all of it & run up a national debt in the trillions. How? With an immoral, unnecessary war for his own selfish ends. He & Cheney & Rumsfeld
plotted the whole thing.
What we need in Washington are true statesmen capable of doing what is right for the American people in this time. Liktoonshoe, passing Obama's jobs bill after the State of the Union address.
