Gov. Jay Nixon received a welcome boost to his re-election campaign funds with $510,000 in oversized contributions today, according to 48-hour reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
The Democratic Governors Association contributed $470,000 to Nixon's campaign, while Teamsters 45 PAF in Springfield gave another $40,000.
