Enemies of public education spread money around Missouri

Two enemies of public education spread some money around today, according to 48-hour reports filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Michelle Rhee's grossly misnamed Students First organization gave $15,000 to the House Republican Campaign Committee, while Republican Senator Mike Parson, Bolivar; and Rep. Caleb Jones, R-California, received $25,000 and $27,000 respectively.

Students First gave $10,000 to the Republican Senate Campaign Commitee earlier this week.

The Sinquefield contributions follow his $100,000 contribution to Speaker of the House Tim Jones, R-Eureka.

This is a bit unusual for you, but it is Mike Parson not Bill. Also, I'm not aware of Caleb Jones running for anything other than reelection for his House seat.

Thanks for catching that. That's what happens when I write one when I am needing a nap. I will fix those mistakes.
