Jane Cunningham: Ed Martin's my kind of man

(From the Ed Martin for Attorney General campaign)

Ed Martin, Republican for Attorney General, announced on Tuesday that more than 170 women representing every Missouri county have formed the "Women for Ed Martin" coalition. The group urges voters to join Martin to Stand Up and Fight Back, by supporting a Missouri conservative for Attorney General.

"I am proud to have the backing of these outstanding Missouri leaders from many different walks of life, all of whom want an Attorney General who will stand up and fight back for them and their families," Martin said. "They know that as Attorney General I will stand up for the rule of law, family values, and the Constitution. But perhaps most importantly, they know that I will fight on their behalf, not President Obama's or the special interests that control Chris Koster. Come January, I will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with all Missourians to fight back against government overreach, clean up government, and enforce the law. Our current liberal incumbent Attorney General prefers to be Obama's Lawyer and play Chicago-style politics, rather than stand for the people he is supposed to defend and protect."

The "Women for Ed Martin" coalition is one of several coalitions organized by Martin including the "Sportsmen for Martin" and "Small Business Owners for Martin" coalitions.  These coalitions have come together because Missourians are tired of Chicago-style politics in the Attorney General's office.

State Senator Jane Cunningham, member of the coalition from St. Louis County, is encouraging voters everywhere to support Ed Martin for Attorney General, especially women voters who the current Attorney General is failing on issues such as health care and crime. Cunningham also said she was outraged that at a time when women are concerned about the future of their children and grandchildren, Attorney General Chris Koster is wasting taxpayer dollars on decorations for his office.

"Ed Martin is a recipe for action. Start with the basics of the right approach to health care, education and jobs coupled with the determination to protect our families from crime and defend freedoms from federal encroachment. Stir in a pound of passion and an overflowing cup of energy. You just cooked up a winner."
