GateHouse Media totally revamping leadership at Carthage, Neosho, Pittsburg

I noted in an earlier post that GateHouse Media, owner of the Carthage Press, Neosho Daily News, Pittsburg Morning Sun, and more than 300 other publications across the U. S. is advertising for a publisher for the area newspapers to replace Steve Boggs, who left GateHouse Friday.

Apparently, publishing is not the only area where GateHouse is seeking some help for this area. The company is also advertising for a regional ad director.

The ad reads as follows:

An innovative, progressive company is looking for an experienced sales executive to lead its multimedia publishing efforts in the beautiful gateway to the Ozarks area of southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri. This person will oversee sales staffs in three daily and 2 weekly newspapers.Only candidates with a passion for motivation and leadership in a digital-first environment need apply. GateHouse Media serves audiences nationwide through community-focused publications and related websites. To apply for this position: email stephen.wade@examiner.net.
GateHouse is also advertising for an education reporter for the Pittsburg Morning Sun.

At the moment, former Morning Sun publisher Stephen Wade, now publishers of GateHouse's newspapers in Independence and Blue Springs, is serving as interim publisher of the Press, Daily News, Morning Sun, Aurora Advertiser, and Greenfield Vedette.
