Full operation for traffic signal at 60 and Kodiak Road, Neosho, starts Monday

(From MODOT)

The traffic signal at Route 60 and Kodiak Road in Neosho is set to begin full operation at 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Drivers are urged to use caution as they approach the traffic signal, which will begin cycling red, yellow and green.
MoDOT will observe the signal's operation to determine whether timing changes are needed.
The traffic signal was installed as part of a widening project at Kodiak Road and Route 60 in Neosho.
Here's a look at the project:
* Widen Route 60 to add left-turn lanes in both directions to Kodiak Road
* Widen Kodiak Road to add left-turn lanes in both directions to Route 60
* Install new traffic signal at intersection
The project is scheduled for completion by June 30, 2013.
APAC-Missouri of Columbia is the contractor, doing the work for a low bid amount of $824,000.
The intersection improvements are being made possible in a cost-sharing project between MoDOT and the Neosho Transportation Development District.
