Huff: All Joplin Schools will have storm shelters
In this video from KFOR in Oklahoma City, Superintendent C. J. Huff talks about building safe rooms for all schools in the Joplin R-8 School District.

This is the best investment the district can make. I think Moore, OK, proves that the "unthinkable" can happen more than once, and there would be no excuse for our district to not be prepared for the next time, should it occur.
I have no argument with this, especially since the rooms are used daily.
There are multiples of issues we might argue with the district, but let's give credit where credit is due. And it is due, here.
