Teacher training report draws skepticism

A report from the National Council for Teacher Quality that says Missouri and Kansas teaching colleges, are doing a poor job of training teachers, has drawn some skepticism.

A little more research on this report would have shown it is from yet another one of those misnamed groups funded by billionaire businessmen who think they know more about education than anyone else.

The study did not include anyone actually going to any of the colleges to see firsthand what is going on. After all, who wants to let facts stand in the way of this kind of report. And sadly, for the most part, the media goes right along with it.
